Inspiration: My autumn wardrobe is full of browns, ambers and golds, and I wanted something to complement those colors. The combination of the gold colored freshwater cultured pearls and dark amber faceted glass beads seemed a good choice.

Inspiration: A few years ago, I made a pair of "dragonfly" earrings around a different color of the long pink fang-shaped beads... and then someone eventually pointed out to me that dragonflies have four wings, not two. Finally figured out how to produce a four-winged effect, although the festoons end up glomming together into an ambiguous butterfly-wing outline.
