Inspiration: I am giving away a necklace in the month of September to a ckient of my bead store www.magpiegemstones.com
My client's are amazing people. Many have become friends and their warmth and friendship as well as their immense creativity makes me happy to wake up every morning and get to work. In trying to think of a way to repay them I thought of making a necklace out of the best labradorite I have and giving it away.
This is what manifest itself on my work bench when I went at the task.

Inspiration: The inspiration came from the stone - it's a boulder opal I bought rough and had drilled and custom-polished *just* enough to bring out the color on the top of the stone, leaving the rest rough. The bracelet was meant as a study in contrasts - rough stone, lacy beadwork and sparkly crystal, contrasting colors, everything and it's opposite.
