Inspiration: This might sound silly, but I had the pearls on my table with the jade and I was trying to figure out what to do with the pearls.Here's the silly part the pearls and the jade told me. I was going to make one strand of the two combined, but it tripled in size. The pendant was an add on later. Which in the end I decided to make it removable. That way the necklace can be worn two different ways.

Inspiration: The queen of Naboo's silvery-grey headdress of draped pearls at the end of "Revenge of the Sith". (Not Amidala-- Queen Apailana, I think was the name of the girl walking in the funeral procession.)

Inspiration: I was asked to make a bridal set, made with pearls and I remember making some kind of bracelet, so I adjusted the size of the pearls so it would form a soft curve and adjust to the neckline.

Inspiration: My autumn wardrobe is full of browns, ambers and golds, and I wanted something to complement those colors. The combination of the gold colored freshwater cultured pearls and dark amber faceted glass beads seemed a good choice.
